A beautiful log home with a view of the four major peaks of the Wrangell Mountains…The location is the gateway to the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. Location is such that fishing, hiking, rafting, glacier trekking, flight seeing and hunting are all near.

The home is constructed of lumber on the bottom floor where the guest rooms are located. The second floor which has the kitchen, living room, pantry, dinning room and one guest 3/4 bath is constructed of 12" to 16" native logs scribe fit by a local craftsman. The same log construction is used for the third floor where the master bed room and bath are located. The third floor has a loft open to the living room and is used for our office. The boiler room is a separate building that provides warm storage. The boiler is fired by heating oil and is accompanied by an 80 gallon boiler mate. The well (155' deep) is also housed within the boiler room.

The property has about a half acre cleared for the house and boiler room. There is an R.V. pad where our 35' fifth wheel trailer is setting. We use the trailer for overflow, which we often have. Our electricity is supplied by the local electric company "Copper Valley Electric" which is a co-op. Our phone and DSL service is provided by the local telephone company "Copper Valley Telephone" which is also a co-op.

We have a "key" phone system providing us with a personal, a fax, a business and one extra phone line into the house. Each of our rental rooms has a phone and their own personal voice mail system. They also have an intercom built in for contacting the rooms or the owners.
