Very Disappointing – Inn keeper Patricia ‘Trish’ Hafer personally encouraged and took my reservation to stay during the week of the Bristol 4th of July parade knowing I would travel from London England to Bristol Rhode Island with my wife and three sons (11, 6 and 2). Within 48 hours of arriving Trish was criticizing the fact that my children woke early and were simply children and suggested that “if you are not comfortable here I will release you from your reservation …etc.” A subtle request to leave … The rest of the week we had to get our kids up and out of her ‘hotel’ by 7:30 am and not bring them back until after 2 of them had fallen asleep in the car late in the evening. We had no opportunity to use any of the hotels amenities – however from what we have seen, none of them lived up to her advertisements; we never experienced a 2 guest to 1 staff ratio, “four o'clock H'vds” were nothing more than cheese and crackers with some warmed up store bought Swedish meatballs. Although the hotel was certainly clean and in a beautiful setting, it was so unwelcoming and deceptively marketed this was the worst holiday my family has ever experienced. Point Pleasant was pointless and unpleasant and more of a Nursing Home for old age pensioners than an attractive holiday destination. Beware!

You are such a deceptive person. The email you sent yesterday was written after you checked out, but you wrote it as you were writing it the night before. But it was dated July 5th, 9:24 a.m. Running in the halls, children coming into the dining room and office without a parent, and wetting the beds, just does not fit into our Inn setting.
