Killahevlin Bed & Breakfast Front Royal, VA

We just returned from staying a night at the Killahevlin Inn. We wished we had stayed longer. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The property is very lovely, the grounds large and inviting and the inside amenities are also very nice. We stayed in the Blue Room. It is a very nice room with a huge bathroom and tub. There is also access to a lovely sun porch (shared) and another 1/2 bathroom. They have a small private pub for the guests, with beverages for all tastes. The owners were very helpful with dining suggestions and maps for the area. It is located just on the edge of town and was convenient for getting around the area. The breakfast was delicious and came with a wide array of choices. You could have any or all of the selections available that day - so no need to feel obligated to eat more than you feel comfortable with for breakfast.

Bragdon House Bed and Breakfast Geneva, NY

Initially intended to be a stopover on our drive home from Canada, our stay in the Finger Lakes became a destination in the trip overall. The B&B was comfortable with small touches in the room that made one feel at home (ie big fluffy towels, custom made soap). The breakfasts were delicious - although they were described as "continental" during the week, they were full on gourmet feasts! Jen made us feel welcome and was available for advice if needed. The location was convenient to touring the Lake region and close enough to downtown Geneva to walk to. The Bragdon House is a real gem.
