Civil War Sesquicentennial! rss

This year is the 150th anniversary of the Civil War (1861-1865). Commemorative events will be happening through 2015.  A wonderful way to be a part of this historical event is to take advantage of these Sesquicentennial (that means 150th) Getaways.  These trips include battlefield tours led by local experts, re-enactments, stays at historical locations, 1860s themed meals, and more.

Reservations for Preservation. BnBFinder inns also are commemorating the Civil War Sesquicentennial by helping preserve the land on which many of the historic battles were fought. A portion of each booking will be donated to help save the battlefields and educate the public on their historical value. Join thousands who are helping preserve Civil War history by staying at a participating inn.
