Losing the fear of cooking is the first step of feeling comfortable with putting a meal together for friends and family.
The inn has different classes available this fall and next spring:
1. Six week course ( 3 hours every Wednesday 5.30 – 8.30; day of week can be changed with mutual agreement of all students) with basic instructions in planning a meal, shopping, preparation, and then making soups, sauces, stews, roasts, fish, vegetables, & starches. $595.00. Four person minimum required.
2. Weekend courses with lodging, meals and lessons all included. Starts mid April through the 3rd week of May. $650 + 7% tax double occupancy. ($550.00 + 7% tax single rate.) Arrival Friday, check out Sunday after breakfast. Includes 2 dinners, 2 full breakfasts, 3 hour class on Saturday and another 2 hour class on Sunday before leaving. Requests for specific subjects are considered but not guaranteed. Six person minimum required.

We're very excited to announce the start of our guided wine tours. The drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway is filled with history and beautiful scenery plus the reward of enjoying some of the best of Virginia's wines.
Sitting back and just relaxing while you are guided through the mountains is the best way to enjoy a outing to the wineries,
The tour includes all tasting fees, a lunch of fruit, cheese, crackers and other goodies and transportation to and from the Inn.
Tours begin in May and must be booked in advance. Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. $130 per person for a minimum of 4 people or $180 per person for just the two of you.
