But what really set the Olallieberry apart was how warmly we were treated by Marjorie, Marilyn and Larry, and the whole Olallieberry staff. All holidays are heartwarming and charming in the backcountry. This is especially true at Orchard Hill Country Inn where the decorations, the food, and the colors of nature combine to celebrate these special times.
The Thanksgiving holiday books up very early. Reservations are to be booked in two day increments: Wednesday/Thursday and Friday/Saturday.
A traditional and bountiful Thanksgiving Day buffet is served at sittings in either the early or late afternoon. Depending upon availability, guests staying at the Inn may invite their own guests to join them for dinner. We return to our regular menu on Saturday evening. Saturday is the day for the holiday lighting of the town and our community Christmas tree.

Summer Events are held in the garden with entrance through the flower-lined path. Cake and beverages are served following the ceremony on the patio while serenaded by the sounds of the water fountain. The Inn will help you organize additional catering as needed.
Winter Events are held before the living room fireplace. Cake and beverage are served in the dining room following the ceremony. The honored couple will enter the room via the decorated staircase and of course the Inn will help you organize additional catering if desired.

Whether your cocktail hour is outside on one of our tree-shaded porches overlooking the Silvermine River and mill pond, or inside, in our air-conditioned Parlors, no one has to stand in line at the bar to get a drink. All beverages are served to your guests; hors d’oeuvres are served butler style, as well as displayed for folks to help themselves.
Space, including a large dance floor, is available for a minimum of 75, to a maximum of 200 guests.

- Saturday afternoon, for up to 200, finished by 5:00 PM
- Saturday evening, after 6:30 PM, for a maximum of 90 adult guests, or a minimum guarantee of 140 adult guests.

Stonecroft can accommodate up to 20 classroom-style in our Grange Dining Room. It is one room (seats 60) where both meeting and luncheon would take place. There is a fireplace and two sofas at one end. The whole west wall (40’) is floor to ceiling multi-light windows and French doors opening onto a covered (in warm weather) stone terrace and garden, great for breaks and assimilating lessons from intense sessions. In warm weather, lunch can be served on the terrace.
We have a number of small, informal breakout spaces. The large space has projector and screen, flip charts, phone. Guests rooms have voice and data lines (dial-up). The Inn office can receive faxes.

Order a bottle of wine ($20.00), a dozen Roses (25.00), or a box of chocolates ($15.00). Take one, two or all three and have the DVD player running with your romantic movie or music and snuggle (free). A special brand of wine or chocolates may raise the cost.
Have dinner at Belle Fiore, a most romantic restaurant, and get a free dessert or dine at Modesto’s, a fine dining Italian and Mexican restaurant, and receive a free glass of wine.
