This is an incredible opportunity of a lifetime! Gently lift off into an adventure where you’ll experience the scenic vistas of the Alabama Gulf Coast from a whole new vantage point! The acre includes the fountain, waterfall and pond as well as a vast lawn with many opportunities for taking beautiful photographs to be cherished forever. We have plenty of parking for your guests and there are ample lodgings in the area as well. Wedding parties have set up tables and chairs for dining, created special rituals, and danced until 10pm before honeymooning in their cottages. We are honored to help people realize their dreams.
Our Wedding Package includes a Grounds Rental Fee as well as the exclusive use of the three cottages for two or three days, depending on the weekend. Please call or email Greta for pricing. Our nine peaceful acres with beautiful perennial gardens, birch gazebo, meadows and ornamental ponds provide a lovely setting for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners or Sunday brunches. All they need is for us to help you add your personal touch; food, flowers, candles, music, friends and family.
We host events from jut the two of you up to 80 in total and, depending on the size of the group and the season, we offer the use of the inn, its canopied deck, our handsome red barn or a rental tent on our upper meadow. Weddings can be catered by one of our recommended caterers and for weddings being held at West Hill House we also offer onsite catering for Rehearsal Dinners and "First Morning" Brunches for up to 35 guests.

All guest rooms must be rented for a minimum of two nights when the event is on a weekend. Room prices are on our web site. Of course, a full breakfast is provided to all those guests staying at Mayhurst.
Indoor seating capabilities are: Dining Room - 30; Library - 8. The Main Parlor can accommodate 30 seated for a small wedding. Indoor Rehearsal Dinners, Ceremonies and Receptions can be arranged in these rooms. Our outdoor Ceremony and Reception locations can accommodate up to 300 people. The Patio seats 64 comfortably for a reception. Ample parking is available.
All outdoor events exceeding 64 persons require rental of an appropriate size tent or canopy. Applicable charges will also be added for rental items (tent/canopy, bandstand, tables, table cloths, chairs, dance floor, china, glassware, silverware, etc.). We can provide an estimate.
We provide our brides with a complete "recommended" vendor list that includes caterers, florists, photographers, wedding cake vendors, Ministers or Wedding Celebrants, musicians, and other services. We are happy to assist you with making arrangements.
The Premises Site Fee for the use of the Mayhurst Manor House and our 37 Acres for a weekend is $3,000, plus Virginia Sales Tax. The site fee covers the period from 2:00 PM on Friday to 12:00 Noon on Sunday. The site fee does NOT cover room costs.
