Orange Cranberry Scones [rate this recipe]
Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1/4 cup sugar 3 Tablespoons Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 6 Tablespoons Butter 1/2 cup dried Cranberries 1 Egg 1/2 cup Orange Juice 2 TBS. beaten egg w/ 1 TBS. 1/2 & 1/2
Directions: Preheat oven to 400' Mix dry ingrediants. Cut in Butter with pastry blender. Add Cranberries. Mix juice and eggs together. Add wet to dry until just combined. Knead about 10 times on floured board. Cut in 2 pcs. Shape each in round disk. Cut each into 6 pie shape pieces. Brush tops w/ beaten egg mix.Bake about 20 min. or until golden. Enjoy!
