Directions: Bangor Airport When exiting the airport, follow signs to I 95 South. From I95, exit to I395 east towards Bucksport and Ellsworth. Exit I 395 on Route 15 towards Bucksport. In Bucksport, Route 15 joins Routes 1 and 3. About 2 miles out of Bucksport, turn right onto Route 175. There are signs to Castine. Route 175 also called the Castine Road. Route 175 turns into Route 166. Continue on 166 and there, again, are signs to Castine. Route 166 will split and there is a sign welcoming you to Castine. You will still be 5 miles from town. You may take either fork 166 or 166A. When they rejoin, you are about 2 miles from town, where shortly you will see a cove to the left and "British Canal" sign on the right. Follow the road up the hill. At the top of the hill, the road will make a sharp (90°) turn to right. The street becomes Battle Avenue. The Manor Inn is less than a mile on the right from that point. |
