Directions: South Take 95 North into Maine to EXIT 44 - Rte.295 North in Portland (about 1.0 hours from NH border). Follow Rte. 295 North for 28 miles to Exit 28 Coastal Route 1 Brunswick/Bath. Follow Rte. 1 North about 58 miles into Rockland. At the 1st set of lights in Rockland is the intersection with Broadway (Alt. Rte. 1A) and Park Street (Rte. 1) there will be the First National Bank of Damariscotta on your right and a brick apartment building, Stella Maris on your left before the light and the Fire Department brick building on the right and Park Street Laundramat on the left after the light. Take a left on Broadway and follow. At the first set of lights on Broadway at the intersection with Limerock (~3/10 mile) you will proceed straight but start counting streets. Talbot Avenue will be the 4th road on the right after the light at Limerock and is immediately after Summer Street. Take a right onto Talbot Avenue and the beautiful Berry Manor Inn will be the second building on the left #81 - burgundy and gold manor house. North Take Route 1 South from Camden into Rockland, a distance of approximately 6 miles. Continue through Rockland on Route 1 South until it splits into two separate roads, one block apart. Route 1 South becomes Union Street; Route 1 North is Main Street - a one-way the wrong way. Bear right at the split. The Brown Bag Restaurant will be on your right and the Rockland Savings & Loan will be directly in front of you. Stay in the right-hand lane and Talbot Avenue will be the third street on your right immediately after Granite Street. Take a right at the Vinalhaven Ferry sign onto Talbot Avenue and continue 1.5 blocks to the Berry Manor Inn on your right. If you come to a stop sign, you've passed us! West Take Rte. 17 East from Augusta into Rockland. At blinking yellow light at the intersection with Birch and Maverick Streets (Webber Oil is on left), take a right onto Birch St. which becomes Broadway at the 1st traffic light. Proceed on Broadway through another traffic light at the intersection with Rankin Streetand take a right onto Talbot Avenue which will be the 4th road on the left after the light (immediately after Granite Street). Berry Manor Inn will be the 2nd house on the left (burgundy and gold) #81 Talbot Avenue. |
