Biltmore Estate only 15 minutes away. LIVING ROOM Gather your group in the large living room with comfortable couches to play games or watch a movie or just hang out. Roku smart TV. DVD player with a small collection of DVDs. Reading material, too. KITCHEN We are foodies and love to cook, so our large kitchen is fully-equipped for cooking, with coffee, tea and spices provided, and a dining area that comfortably seats 6 and overlooks the gardens. PRIMARY BEDROOM You will sleep well on the super comfortable pillow-top king mattress in the large master bedroom suite, and have your own private half bath. SECOND BEDROOM The second medium-sized bedroom also has a comfortable king-size bed, and a great sliding glass door opening to the outside front porch. The covered porch is a sweet peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee. THIRD BEDROOM / SITTING ROOM The sitting room is attached to the master bedroom (a door closes between the two) and has a daybed with trundle bed that can be pulled out for two twin beds and opens to the outside porch. There’s an extra Roku TV in this room for the kids or if someone in your group enjoy falling asleep watching TV. MAIN BATHROOM The shower and tub are beautifully tiled. There is a bluetooth speaker for music while you shower and get ready for your visit to all that Asheville has to offer! PARKING & FRONT YARD The home has plenty of parking (3 cars, inquire if you have more), a fenced yard with a cozy tree swing, and is a wonderful place to unwind after a day exploring Asheville or hiking nearby mountain trails. BACKYARD The grounds are full of organically grown fruit trees and you are welcome to enjoy them in the summer and fall months when the trees and bushes are producing fruit. DOG FRIENDLY We are happy to host well behaved pets. Please get in touch so we can share our pet policy with you! :) LOCAL ACTIVITIES Asheville boasts activities which will satisfy everyone in your travel party. Hiking trails and outdoor activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, tubing the French Broad or whitewater rafting are within easy driving distance. Skiing and zipline within a 20-minute drive. For the shopper in your group, Asheville has a host of antique shops, boutiques, art galleries, and crafts. Evening activities include diverse dining options, movies, live theatre, live music, or just walking through Asheville's lively downtown filled with street performers and art. The Biltmore Estate is breathtaking in summer and glorious when decorated for Christmas. Chimney Rock Park is worth the 35-minute drive. Wonderful hiking and beautiful views. A drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway in autumn highlights the beautiful peak colors. There are many festivals throughout the year for the whole family. You may see our housekeeper, property manager, owner, or maintenance staff on-site on occasion. Note that we have another vacation rental in the basement apartment below you, so we ask that you please be mindful of noise, especially after 10pm and before 7am. There is a completely separate downstairs garden apartment that is also a vacation rental so please be respectful and keep the noise down after 11pm. Dogs can be allowed upon request and a $50 fee per pet will be added after booking. Please let us know if you want to bring a pet or pets so I can send you our pet policy so we are on the same page about how to have that happen in a happy way for all! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. We ask that each guest complete this identification process and purchase either a deposit or waiver. The $500 deposit comes with a $15 transaction fee and the waiver costs a flat $35 to purchase. These costs are nonrefundable while the $500 deposit is refundable and will be released within 7-14 days after the reservation ends. This process is meant to protect both us as hosts and also you as a guest should unexpected damage occur on the property. CANCELLATIONS The cancellation policy will apply to all bookings. An additional $150 cancellation fee may apply to cover credit card processing fees. RENTER'S AGREEMENT A signed renter's agreement is required for all reservations, as well as a picture of a government-issued photo ID and a picture of your credit card used to book showing only the last 4 digits and your name. This is to prevent credit card fraud and is meant to protect you as the renter and us as hosts.
